Demonstrated expert understanding of software industry best practices in Software Quality Assurance as well as the Software Development -Life Cycle using Agile and other lean methodologies.
Work Experience:
Expertise with database testing. Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries and scripts.
Expertise with development and testing in the Microsoft .Net architecture and toolset.
Ability to design and implement automated coded tests (unit, integration and system).
Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies (i.e. XP, SCRUM).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to interact with the Business Analysts and the teammates for better understanding of the business requirements.
Configuring smoke suite with VSTS CI/CD process and integration with application release pipeline for performing no-touch smoke testing of application.
Understanding the business requirements and assigning to the team members as per their capabilities.
Closely interacted with Business Analysts and software developers to understand application functionality and navigational flow.
Coordinating with the Development team for defect analysis.
Interacting with business analysts in resolving the problems.
Responsible for weekly status meetings showing progress and future testing efforts.
Conducted and attended meetings with fellow team members.
Conducting Trainings within and across the teams and also conducting KT sessions.
Assigning work related to updating existing Test Cases against the change of requirements and Mentoring & providing directions to the team members.
Planning and tracking to meet the deliverables against timelines.
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Executing tests on software usability.
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements.
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in Technology or Computer Science.
